
Non-US whistleblowers: Blind spot for corporates?
Non-US whistleblowers are often key to enforcement for US regulators, but some multinationals fail to understand that state-side regulators accept information from anywhere in the world.

Whistleblowers based in Asia who report infractions to regulators in the United States are the “blind spot” in many corporates’ compliance programmes, Vincent H. Cohen, a compliance expert from the US law firm Dechert, said at on an anti-corruption panel at the 5th Compliance Summit North Asia on November 17.
