Japan’s BTMU hires ex-StanChart exec to spearhead East Asia operations
Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ has hired Yong Lee Boon to run transaction banking in the region as the lender looks to grow its business in cash and trade.
Yong Lee Boon, the former head of China corporate transaction banking at Standard Chartered (pictured), has moved to Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) to co-lead its transaction banking operations in East Asia.
