
Trump tax reform: SEC cuts corporates some slack
The US securities watchdog is giving companies some leeway as they prepare their quarterly financial statements after passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

The US tax reform bill, which President Donald Trump signed into law on December 22, makes sweeping changes to the tax laws and is expected to have a substantial impact on the bottom line of companies both in the United States and internationally.
