
Thailand adopts ISO20022 for faster payments
Swift and the Thai government will speed up transactions and make it easier for the country to connect to its ASEAN neighbours by implementing the newest bank messaging standards.

Swift and Thailand’s Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), a government-owned body, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on October 3 to promote the use of ISO20022, the most advanced financial messaging standard.
