Tetra Pak's mammoth ERP restructuring

Q: Before switching to SAP, which enterprise resource system (ERP) system did you use?|
A:
We had a very fragmented set-up prior to implementing SAP. There were different systems in different organisations used for different tasks. Today, most of our global businesses are supported by one SAP ERP.

Q: Why did you decide to use SAP?
A:
Due to operational complexity globally, it was important to have a consistent way of working. We decided to align our processes globally in 1997 and we needed an ERP platform that could handle global business processes.
