
Official: India relaxes rules for exchange currency trading
To provide more options for currency hedging, India has relaxed several restrictions to facilitate currency derivatives trading in the exchange market for both domestic and foreign participants.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued detailed operational guidelines following the March 31 relaxation of restrictions for both foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) and domestic participants in the exchange traded currency derivatives (ETCD) market.
