Malaysia further clarifies hedging rules

After much consternation over controversial new hedging laws, Malaysia's central bank has further clarifies (again) its position on what corporates can and cannot do. The rules are now live.

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) issued a notice on May 2 further clarifying its position on when companies can unwind their FX exposure without formal approval from the central bank.
