HSBC poaches GTRF sales head from Citi

HSBC has lured former Philips CFO Bart Ras away from Citi to be its new global head of business development for global trade and receivables finance (GTRF).

Ras has been appointed global head of business development for HSBC’s GTRF business, effective from 15 October, 2013. He replaces Luiz Simione, who was recently appointed global head of forfaiting and risk distribution, GTRF. Ras will continue to be based in London.
