Hong Kong bets on tourism surge as 44.5m visit in 2024
As visitors return to the city, a new five-year plan wants to return the SAR's tourism economy to close to 5% of GDP, up from 2.6% in 2023.
The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) said that the provisional full-year visitor arrivals for 2024 were 44.5 million, up 31% year on year.
