
Japan's GDP grew 2.8% in Q4 2024
The economy, which climbed over ¥600 trillion for the full year, was bolstered by exports and private consumption. In 2024, more than 36 million people visited the country, spending a record amount.

Japan’s economy finished the year with a strong GDP print in Q4 2024, 2.8% above the Q4 2023, and 0.7% up from Q3 2024, meaning the economy saw its third straight quarter of growth.
