Following eased regulations, Ford Motor remitted its first-ever renminbi-denominated dividend from China to the US headquarters, better positioning the company’s cash.

Ford Motor, the second-largest US automaker, has for the first time remitted a renminbi-denominated dividend from China to its US headquarters, in partnership with Standard Chartered. The transaction was completed on August 22.
