Citi hires new China head from BofA
Zhang Wenjie will return to Citi as the bank’s country officer and banking head for China in July.
Zhang Wenjie, currently China president at Bank of America (BofA), will be joining Citi in July as Citi’s country officer and head of banking for China, according to a media release. He will also become president and executive director for Citibank (China), subject to regulatory approvals.
