China launches third Singapore X-border RMB scheme: Who’s on board?

A third cross-border renminbi connectivity programme between China and Singapore kicked off in Chongqing. CT talks to the PBoC and MAS to learn more.

On March 25, China launched in Chongqing its third cross-border renminbi pilot programme with Singapore, a move under the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity that was announced in November 2015.
