The market's central bank reports over 53 million digital payment transactions in the first half of 2021.
Last week, the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) revealed data showing that cashless payments in the market had surged, topping $3.62 billion in value and 53 million digital payment transactions overall, in the first half of 2021.
