Cargill: Ship owners need to sail with eBL

In February 2013, Cargill made its first grain shipment from North and South America to the Caribbean and Europe using electronic bills of lading (eBL), after completing trials in 2012. In Asia-Pacific, the trading house expanded eBLs usage to bulk iron ore cargoes  in trades from Australia to China since June 2013. Mining company BHP Billiton also adopted this process at the same time.
