Bangladeshi factory fears rise amid protracted US tariff talks
Amid the uncertainty a US giant has suspended some apparel orders from the country, which is competing with the likes of Cambodia and Vietnam; meanwhile government export subsidies are set to decrease.

The reciprocal tariff talks between the US and Bangladesh ended inconclusively on July 11, with no announcement of a trade agreement in sight.
