US Fed cuts rates again

US interest rates have been lowered again by the US Fed to a range of 3.5%-3.75%; as a result Hong Kong has cut its base rate to 4%.

The US Federal Reserve’s Federal Open Market Committee has voted nine to three to lower its key overnight borrowing rate by a quarter percentage point, or 25 basiis points, putting the country's key interest rate a range between 3.5%-3.75%.
