Updated: Hurricane Milton disrupts global supply chains, causes large losses
The storm caused disruption across ports and airports, killed at least 17 people, and the damage set to take months to clear up; it is also happened before the recovery in Florida from Hurricane Helene had finished.
Before having a chance to clean up properly from Hurricane Helene, Florida is being hit by another major hurricane which is set to disrupt global supply chains and cause billions of dollars of damage to property, including homes, offices, shops, cars, churches, boats, golf courses and other sporting venues.
