
Tighter regulation pushes Chinese corporates to raise funds offshore
Higher onshore funding costs – as well as tighter credit conditions – continue to put pressure on Chinese corporates to raise debt outside the country.

The number of Chinese corporates seeking to issue bonds offshore is set to increase in 2018 amid tightened onshore regulation and high funding costs, according to a report from credit rating agency Fitch.
