After take downs on performance indices, CT looks into how treasurers and finance teams can back their numbers.
There’s been a backlash against performance indices lately. The Economist published a leader towards the end of last year snidely advising on “How to Lie with Indices,” while Forbes and Reuters too have criticised the misuse of the index as a tool advancing falsities.
