Stripe saw 30% increase in Asia cross-border payments in 2024
The global payment firm believes that Apac will "drive the global acceleration in money movement in 2025".
In 2024, Stripe processed $1.4 trillion in total payment volume, a 38% increase from the prior year and equivalent to around 1.3% of global GDP, with the firm saying that “momentum in Asia Pacific (Apac)” will continue unabated into this year and beyond.
