Stripe partners with Tencent to enable WeChat Pay on terminals in 20 countries
The aim is to target China’s growing population living abroad.
US-headquartered global payment company Stripe has expanded a partnership with Chinese tech giant Tencent, which allows the use of Weixin Pay, also known as WeChat Pay, to be accepted on Stripe’s payment terminals across 20 countries.
