
Seaspan raises Rmb1.5bn from debut panda bond amid fleet decarbonisation
The container shipping giant said its entry into China’s capital market will diversify its funding sources and improve access to cost-efficient funds, amid rapid growth in the panda bond market.

Global container ship operator Seaspan Corporation has raised Rmb1.5 billion ($222.3 million) through its debut panda bond, with the three-year private placement note issued on July 15 with an annual coupon of 2.5%.
