China signs depositor protection MOU with US
The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) signed a memorandum of understanding with the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation regarding depositor protection, the resolution of cross-border financial institutions, crisis management, and international financial stability policy. The agreement, signed in Beijing on October 24, should pave the way for safer cross-border trade between the countries.
