Q: Why this JV was set up in the first place?
A: It’s a 50/50 joint venture between Shell and CNPC [China National Petroleum Corporation]. We were incorporated in Singapore in June 2011. Apart from Singapore, we have a China subsidiary, an offshore subsidiary and [operate in] the US and Canada. We also have an intermediary holding company in the Netherlands.
