Over the past decade, Asia-Pacific has proved to be a fertile ground for shared services, driven by favourable labour costs, an abundant pool of skilled multilingual people, as well as improvements in infrastructure and telecommunications. At least 85% of Fortune 100 companies operate there, according to CEB, formerly known as Corporate Executive Board, a management consultant.
