
Myanmar could let foreign banks offer trade finance
The former pariah state hopes to boost its economy by giving foreign banks scope to lend to exporters. Bankers say the development would aid MNCs in the country, but need clarity from the government.

Foreign banks may be allowed to grant trade finance in Myanmar in a bid to support exports, a senior official at the Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) told CT.
