Manulife names CFO, Asia CEO
Colin Simpson has been appointed CFO of Manulife succeeding Phil Witherington, who in turn becomes president and CEO of Manulife Asia. The insurer sees Asia accounting for 50% of its global earnings.
Toronto-headquartered insurance group, Manulife, has appointed of Phil Witherington as president and CEO of Manulife Asia, and Colin Simpson as his replacement in the post of CFO for the global business, the company announced in a release earlier this month. Both promotions are effective July 1.
