Malaysia's CIMB qualifies as CIPS participant

CIMB Bank has become the first Malaysian lender to obtain direct participation qualification for China’s Cross-Border Interbank Payment System (CIPS). The move will strengthen its ability to process Renminbi transactions between China, Malaysia and other Asean markets.
