Leading shippers advance trade digitisation
Estimates show that digitising the bill of lading alone, would increase annual global trade growth by $30-40 billion.
Nine of the world’s leading ocean carriers, including Maersk, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and Evergreen, have committed to fully digitising their physical bills of lading (BoL) by 2030, and converting at least 50% of these analogue processes within the next five years.
