Large financing gap in Apac for transition: CDP
In Apac, 78% of companies have emissions-reduction initiatives in place, however the financing gap is wide, with only 8% of companies aligning capital expenditure with transition strategies, according to data from corporates.
Companies across the globe have reported over $54 billion in annual savings globally, including $22 billion in Asia Pacific (Apac), from low-carbon initiatives in 2024, according to firms disclosing through CDP – an environmental disclosure platform.
