
India locals cautious on new payment factory rules
India’s authorised dealers (ADs) reforms to officially allow third-party payments facilitating payment factories are welcomed, with caveats.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced on November 8 that AD banks may allow third-party payments for export or import payments of goods and software, a move introduced with immediate effect to further liberalise trade payment procedures.
