The US Fed has kept the interest rate unchanged while the US has agreed a 15% tariff rate with South Korea; the BOJ is anticipated to keep interest rates steady this week.

The US Federal Reserve (Fed) has kept interest rates unchanged at a target range of 4.25% to 4.5% this week after a meeting on July 30, with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) following suit to keep rates at 4.75%
