Exporters thrilled with India FX hedging relaxations

The RBI restored cancellable FX hedges for Indian importers and exporters following a 2011 ban on the practice. Exporters are particularly pleased.

On March 27, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) eased foreign exchange hedging rules for exporters and importers that have been in place since 2011.
