Exclusive interview with HSBC commercial banking head for South and Southeast Asia: Amanda Murphy
Having taken on leadership responsibility for the bank's South and Southeast Asian Commercial Banking effort from December 2021, CorporateTreasurer caught up with Amanda Murphy on the themes pervading corporate activity across her regional remit.

Amanda Murphy first joined HSBC in 1994 and has held a number of frontline, risk, and leadership roles with the bank to date. Her career has seen her form bases in Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Middle East, Europe, and Canada, and in December last year, she relocated from the UK – where she oversaw the bank's relationships with 900,000 SMEs and large corporates – to Singapore, where she takes responsibility for commercial banking (CMB) across South and Southeast Asia.
