CT AWARDS SPOTLIGHT 2026: Ripple Treasury

Ripple Treasury's achievements in both Asia Pacific (Apac) and the Middle East reflect a year in which the firm combined established enterprise treasury expertise with new capabilities spanning digital assets, artificial intelligence (AI) and financial automation.
The business, created following Ripple's acquisition of GTreasury in late 2025, combines GTreasury's four decades of experience in treasury management systems with Ripple's blockchain and digital-asset infrastructure. As a result, finance teams can manage conventional cash and digital assets through the same platform.
This capability took a significant step forward in April 2026 with the launch of Digital Asset Accounts and Unified Treasury. Treasury teams can now view, hold, receive and manage fiat and digital liquidity in one place, applying familiar controls to both.
More specifically, digital assets and stablecoins including XRP and RLUSD balances can be viewed alongside cash and valued in real time, while Ripple Treasury's ClearConnect integration layer brings together positions held with different custodians. The system records digital assets to 15 decimal places, preserving their native onchain value and avoiding the rounding differences that can arise when they are transferred into conventional treasury systems.
These capabilities have particular relevance in Apac, where many treasury teams already manage multiple currencies, legal entities and regulatory regimes. In Ripple's 2026 survey of more than 1,000 finance leaders globally, for example, 72% said offering a digital-asset solution would be necessary to remain competitive.
Ripple Treasury supports the Apac region through teams in Sydney and Singapore. Its acquisition of Sydney-founded Solvexia in January 2026 added no-code reconciliation, analytics and regulatory reporting, providing an alternative to spreadsheet-heavy processes that become harder to control as transaction volumes grow.
The Middle East presents different challenges. The UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are developing regulatory frameworks as corporate interest in digital assets increases. Ripple Treasury provides regional support across the GCC and a platform that can accommodate local rules, data-residency requirements and internal governance standards.
The firm's recent development has not been limited to digital assets. In September 2026, Ripple Treasury expanded GSmart, its treasury-native AI, with policy-governed agents across forecasting, liquidity, risk, reconciliation, and reporting. Each agent proposes an action, cites the policy clause behind it, and waits for treasury approval before anything executes. A Knowledge Studio layer holds the organisation's own policies and controls, while Analytics Studio adds conversational retrieval of treasury data. Client information stays within the customer's environment, is not used to train external models, and every output stays traceable to its source.
GSmart Risk Insights extends the same approach to market exposure. The module analyses foreign exchange and interest-rate positions, identifies unusual activity or policy breaches, and converts live data into reports for senior decision makers. For teams managing numerous currencies and entities, this can reduce manual review while retaining the transparency required by boards, auditors and regulators.
Solvexia addresses a related problem by reconciling information across banks, payment gateways, enterprise resource planning systems and internal records. According to Ripple Treasury, the technology can reduce human error by as much as 98% and cut some complex regulatory-reporting processes from weeks to hours.
Together, these developments show how Ripple Treasury is adapting treasury management for digital assets and greater automation. Its work is particularly relevant to companies operating across Apac and the Middle East, where fragmented systems, multiple regulatory regimes and new forms of liquidity must be managed without weakening financial control.
"These awards are a testament to the treasury teams we work with across the world, partnering with us to improve the platform," said Rob McGuinness, Managing Director, APAC & Middle East Corporate Sales at Ripple Treasury. "That feedback is invaluable, and helps us continue to deliver the best possible experience for our customers, such as new features around AI and digital assets. It's an encouraging milestone, but it's an early one, and we intend to keep earning it."
