
China nudges foreign auditors out
China’s new rules on foreign CPAs auditing overseas listed Chinese companies will change the shape of auditing in China, but ultimately brings it in line with international standards.

China’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) issued new provisions in late May targeting Chinese corporates listed or going to list outside Mainland China on who they pick as their auditors.
