
Barclays boosts Apac, Middle East corporate banking with new senior roles
Two leadership roles have been created to boost transaction banking and digital offerings; the British bank also announced its 2024 annual results last week.

London-headquartered Barclays has appointed Vijay Shankar U.S as managing director, head of global transaction banking, Asia Pacific (Apac) & Middle East, and Amaar Khan as managing director, chief information officer (CIO) and head of corporate banking technology, Apac & Middle East.
