Backlash for EU’s move to put Hong Kong on ‘Blacklist’

Both Hong Kong and the OECD have spoken back about HK’s inclusion by the European Commission on a blacklist of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions.

The European Commission (EC) included Hong Kong in its "Top 30" of non-cooperative jurisdictions” on June 17, provoking “disappointed” letters from the city and international tax administrations.
