ANZ Korea promotes new structured export finance director

Byeong Il Bill Lee has been brought in as a director of structured export finance for ANZ’s Korean operations.
ANZ Korea promotes new structured export finance director

ANZ has announced changes to its structured export finance team in Korea. Byeong Il Bill Lee has joined as a director and will be based in Seoul. The role is a new position at the bank, a spokeswoman for ANZ confirmed.

Lee is responsible for working with ANZ's Korean for customers’ outbound capital goods export and investment activities, and also working with Korean export credit agencies Korean Eximbank and KSure. The bank reports that demand for ECA products is growing in the country.

Joining from ANZ in Vietnam, Lee was formally in charge of the Korea desk based in Ho Chi Minh City. He previously worked for HSBC. Lee will report regionally to Simon Jones, Asia-Pacific head of structured export finance.
