Bank of America Merrill Lynch has hired away Mark Wuscher from J.P Morgan to head its global transaction services business in Korea, a newly created position.

Mark Wuscher has established himself as the head of Korea global transaction services for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Wuscher relocated from Hong Kong to Seoul and started at the beginning of the year, according to a spokesman for the bank.

The newly-established role will oversee treasury, trade, and supply chain services for the American bank’s existing Korean operations. Wuscher will report to Ivo Distelbrink, Asia-Pacific GTS head, and Korea country head Sung Eun Ahn.

Wuscher most recently worked as J.P. Morgan’s head of sales for multinational corporations and commercial banking, based in Hong Kong. He returns to Korea, where he worked previously in treasury and trade services for Citibank.
