Yuanda China Holdings, China’s largest maker of curtain walls, named Wang Lihui as its new CFO and Philip Leung-fai Yu as its new company secretary. They will begin their new roles from June 30.
Wang, an appointed executive director of Yuanda since 2010, is taking over the post vacated by Wong Yuk, Yuanda’s CFO and company secretary, who resigned to “pursue his personal development”, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange announcement
The maker of glitzy exterior of skyscrapers and Beijing Olympics’ iridescent “Water Cube” swimming pool, floated at the Hong Kong bourse last May and raised $536 million.
Wang joined Yuanda in 1996 and has about 20 years of finance and accounting experience under his belt. He has been tasked with devising the group’s budget, remuneration and incentive schemes.
Wang, 43, has been the chief accountant of its subsidiary Shenyang Yuanda Aluminum Industry Group since 2004. Previously, he was the finance director of Shenyang Wumei Shopping Centre between 1995 to 1996.
Yu, 35, was a former auditor of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and has been a company secretary for three Hong Kong-listed companies, including China National Materials Co., Beijing Media Corporation and Vale S.A. between 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, he was the director of corporate and China services division of accounting firm Fung, Yu & Co. CPA Ltd.
